Steel Imports Up 17,6% In July vs June 2022

According to data released by the South African Revenue Service, imports of primary carbon and alloy steel products (excluding stainless steel and drawn wire) amount to 108,634 tonnes during July 2022, an increase of 17,6 % compared with 92,363 tonnes imported during June 2022 and a increase of 17,9% compared with 92,120 tonnes imported during July 2021.
