The South African Iron and Steel Institute (SAISI) is a non-profit, pro-competition and non-governmental representative organisation serving the collective interests of the steelmaking industry in South Africa.
SAISI was established in 1962 as the South African Rolled Steel Producers Co-ordinating Council. In 1995 the name was changed to the South African Iron and Steel Institute.
