The latest radioactive source detected at a plant of one of the SAISI members occurred during an incident on 2 September 2020. The particular source was removed by Necsa on 15 September 2020 for safe storage. During 2019, steel plants reported the detection of 4 radioactive sources to the HAZCOM Committee secretariat.
